Service to Veterans
Euclid Post 343 has a post service officer, who along with a nationwide network of services, can provide help veterans and their families. We have members who are knowledgeable in dealing with federal and state agencies, various Department of Veterans Affairs and veterans rehabilitation programs, as well as Gifts for the Yanks who Gave Program that helps disabled and hospitalized veterans.

 

School Involvement
American Legion members and Auxiliary work with local schools in areas such as flag etiquette and donated flags for classrooms, Boys and Girls State, Americanism and Government Contest, and oratorical contests, American Legion baseball for high school students.

 

Community and Public Affairs
Euclid Post 343 presents a Citizen of the Year award, and as a member of the Euclid Joint Veterans Council, provides coordination for the annual Euclid Memorial Day activities and Euclid Veterans Day event.

 

Friendship and Social Activities
There is an unlimited opportunities for making friends and widening your circle of acquaintances, as Euclid Post 343 hosts a variety of athletic events, dances, parties, picnics, conventions and trips to local events throughout the year Legionnaires, their families and our community.  Visit the Calendar link for dates and details for our activities.

 

Post Home
Euclid Post 343 owns its post home where we meet and hold activities. The post operates Post 343 Dugout, open to members and guests. The Dugout is open 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, with "operational hours as required" on all days. Contact the Bar Chairman, Chris Murphy

The post is conveniently located near I90/SR 2. Coming from the freeway, take the E. 200th Street exit and go north to Arbor Avenue. There is the newly build Arbor Elementary School at the corner of Arbor. Turn right.

 

If coming from Lakeshore Boulevard, take E. 200th Street south to Arbor Avenue, where the newly build Arbor Elementary School is located. Turn left.
